WELCOME TO LAFAYETTE MICROBLADING

Hi, I'm Marissa! I am the permanent makeup artist for Lafayette Microblading LLC located on Main Street and I love empowering women by giving them confidence by enhancing their natural beauty. I started my permanent makeup in June of 2019 and since have also completed 7 continuing education certifications, obtained an esthetics license, and became a certified trainer for microblading through the company Madluvv to train other artists. I was a makeup artist for my theatre program and was an advanced art student in high school, but decided to become a dental assistant for job security. I quickly realized that I was meant to do something artistic and I stumbled upon permanent makeup in 2018. Although changing careers was scary and very high-risk, my passion for the industry stayed strong and flash forward 3 years later, I am able to take students out of their 9 to 5 jobs and make them into successful, employable artists. I have completed over 500 permanent makeup applications on clients in my 2.5 years at Spa Bar and have trained 11 students in 2 years of being a trainer. My esthetics license allows me to be more knowledgable about skin in my profession and be able to give professional advice on the healing process based on skin types and how to identify which skin types are candidates for permanent makeup.
